Dear customer,
Thank you for registering for an Arubus Smartcard. We will soon announce the Recharge points in different areas around Aruba in order to make this process much easier for you. As an introduction you will receive 20 free trips on your smart card. The value for each trip is Afl 2,50. Each time you swipe your card on the smart card reader on the bus, Afl 2,50 will be deducted from you balance.
The Arubus Smart card that you just received remains property of Arubus N.V. and will be confiscated in case of misuse. Please do not let other person(s) use your card otherwise it will be confiscated and you will not be eligible to receive another card for a period of 6 months. If the card is stolen or lost please report immediately to our main office at 520-2300. Stolen or lost card will be deactivated during office hours after date of report. If your smart card is lost or damaged a Afl 25,00 fee must be paid in order to get a new card. Please take good care of this card to avoid paying for a replacement card.

Dear student,
Thank you for registering for an Arubus Smartcard. We will soon announce all the Recharge points all around Aruba in order to make the recharge process much easier for you. Keep in mind that the student rate of Afl 1,25 is only valid during school period from 5:00 AM till 11:00 PM. If you use your card after 11:00 PM till 5:00 AM, the regular rate of Afl 2,50 will deducted from your card. The regular rate is also valid during weekends and holidays. Students exempted by Directie Onderwijs can only use their card during school period.

Thank you for registering for an Arubus Smartcard. We will soon announce the Recharge points in different areas around Aruba in order to make the recharge process much easier for you. As a 60 Plusser you have the right on 40 free trips per month. If you use all your free trips you can always recharge your card and add money to it. Keep in mind that only the money you recharged to your card will rollover to the next month. Unused free trips will not rollover to the next month and will expire at the beginning of the next month. The money you recharged to your smart card is valued at Afl 2,50 per trip. That means that if you swipe your card on the smart card reader on the bus, Afl 2,50 will be deducted from you card in case you don’t have any more free trips.

Tene cuenta cu solamente e placa cu bo a recarga riba bo smart card lo pasa over pa e siguiente luna. E trip nan gratis cu a resta di e luna anterior lo caduca na comienzo di e luna siguiente.
